Equation’s Training Team ensure we share and provide the most up to date content and best practice in our domestic abuse training, inviting national speakers and current researchers to seminars to ensure our sector remains vibrant and excited about making a difference to survivors’ lives. We work to create a collaborative, informed and well-resourced whole systems approach with partners.
We are looking for a Tech Abuse Training Project Worker to work in partnership with our Training team. This is a new brand role for someone who is passionate about domestic abuse prevention and awareness raising with a specialisation on tackling tech abuse, an area of abuse that has recently become much more prevalent and has been highlighted by the new Domestic Abuse Act.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering Equation’s tech abuse training to professionals and community groups across Nottinghamshire and developing relationships with partners and businesses to facilitate a network for practitioner skills development.
The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of domestic abuse, good understanding of technology and how it can be used to perpetrate abuse, and will be proficient at communicating training content to a high standard.
Working hours: 25 – 30 hrs per week
Working terms: Fixed term contract until March 2023. May be extended subject to funding.
Salary: £22,534 Pro-Rata.
