Price: FREE to anyone working in a salon or working mobile as a Hairstylist, Beautician, Barber or Tattooist in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County.

Duration: One hour and Thirty Minutes

This one and a half-hour training session is a basic introduction to Domestic Abuse. The session is suitable for anyone working in a salon or whilst working mobile, who may have contact with people experiencing domestic abuse.

The course will cover the following elements:

• What domestic abuse is.

• How you can recognise the signs of domestic abuse in your clients.

• What to do if a client says they’re being abused.

• Which services you can signpost clients to who are victims of domestic abuse.

All sessions are open to City and County workers.
