This is an exciting opportunity to join the freelance team at Equation, a Nottinghamshire-based, award-winning and innovative charity dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic abuse.
Flexible working hours on a self-employed basis, predominantly during school hours and term times. We are looking for individuals to join our freelance facilitator team. One of several such posts, this role’s primary duties are in delivering domestic abuse and healthy relationships awareness projects with children and young people in line with Equation’s business plans, values and priorities. Therefore, this role requires previous experience working in secondary schools or with young people aged 11-18. Ideal for people who are/have been youth workers, supply teachers, teachers, social workers or people who have relevant experience in delivering PSHE education.
The amount of schools’ work can vary throughout the academic year, however there would be an expectation that successful candidates could offer a reasonable amount of time per term to cover school projects, especially during busy periods. Please be aware that this role will involve travelling to schools all around Nottingham city and the county.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all sections of the community. We particularly welcome applicants from disabled, LGBTQ+ and BAME backgrounds, as these communities are currently under-represented in our freelancer pool.
