This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team setting up and delivering a domestic abuse perpetrator intervention in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Freeva and Equation are working in partnership to deliver a new service to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The team of 4 including, Intervention Program Manager, 2 Program Workers and Project Support Worker will:
- provide interventions that are designed to help people stop using abusive behaviour towards and intimate partner and others.
- work on developing better relationships with loved ones and increasing self-respect.
The program has been run in Leicestershire for 8 years and is Respect accredited.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about preventing domestic abuse and working with people to change their behaviour. Applicants will need:
- Experience in face to face support, group work and engaging individuals in change.
- Understanding of domestic abuse and its effect on partners and children.
- Strong skills in partnership working and teamwork are essential.
Currently funding is available until September 2021 but the partnership will be working to source funding for longer.
We are open to sabbatical and secondment applicants.

Roles:
Intervention Service Manager (employed by Freeva)
Working hours: 37 hrs per week
Working terms: fixed term contract Sept 2021
Salary: £30,000 per year

Job share would be considered for these roles, pro rata salary for part time.
