Domestic Abuse Offence and Coercive Control briefing – Nottinghamshire County (Beeston)

There is a car park on site which is chargeable either through a pay machine in cash or through the Ring Go app.  Costs are £1.50 for 4 hours or £3.00 for a full day.

This two-hour briefing is for frontline professionals and community workers who want to understand more about the purpose and content of the new domestic abuse offence introduced in 2016.


Learning outcomes:



  • Develop an understanding of what coercive control is and how to identify it

  • Gain a high-level understanding of the new domestic abuse offence
