March 14 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Free
Domestic and Sexual Abuse Bystander and Community Training as part of Rural Domestic Abuse Project

Face to Face training

Location: Tin Hat Centre, Chapel Road Tin Hat Centre Selston, Selston NG16 6BW

This session is free to workers, volunteers, residents, businesses, faith and community organisations in North Ashfield only (specifically Selston, Jacksdale and Underwood) as part of work across North Ashfield to improve community safety.

The session gives an overview of domestic and sexual violence and abuse, how it is defined and identifies some simple ways that you can respond and support someone in the community who is impacted by domestic or sexual abuse.

During the session, specific reference is made to different types of domestic abuse, so we recommend attending in a quiet and confidential space. Support is available if you are impacted by any content if the session.
