This briefing will focus on Beyond the Streets’ new report titled ‘Lessons Learnt? Domestic Homicide Reviews through a Sex Industry Lens’, which investigates the prevalence of involvement in the sex industry amongst publicly available domestic homicide reviews (DHRs).

This briefing will discuss the findings emerging from this report in relation to the commonalities in experiences faced by the women, and the agency response in these cases. The briefing will also make recommendations as to how these findings can be implemented into policy and practice.

This session will be useful for workers, practitioners, volunteers, managers, strategists and commissioners.
