Price: Free for practitioners/workers who work with clients in Nottinghamshire County only (excluding City).
This two-hour briefing will:
- enable professionals to understand how to use the DASH risk assessment to support survivors of domestic abuse
- to inform professionals what a MARAC is. how to feed in and contribute effectively
- to increase participants’ confidence in asking about the presence of domestic abuse in a sensitive manner
- to increase participants’ confidence in responding appropriately to disclosures of domestic abuse
- to increase participants’ knowledge of specialist domestic abuse services
- to identify principles of good practice in communicating about possible domestic abuse
- respond appropriately to domestic abuse
