Equation is looking for Healthy Relationships Educators to join our team on a freelance basis. In this role you’ll be delivering our Relationship education projects in classrooms across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.

We’re looking for energetic, passionate and motivated people with previous experience of working in schools or with children and young people. Our freelance role is ideal for applicants with experience of teaching, youth support work, social work or people who have delivered RSE education.

About the role

Equation run two universal school-based programmes, The GREAT Project (Good Relationships are Equal And Trusting) for primary schools, and Equate for secondary schools. Both initiatives fulfil numerous RSE education requirements and reach thousands of young people across Nottinghamshire and beyond each year. The role would also include delivery of 60-90-minute Twilights (teacher training sessions).

Our schools’ projects ensure all children and young people that participate have access to healthy relationships and domestic abuse awareness education.

The amount of schools’ work can vary throughout the academic year. However, there would be an expectation that successful candidates could reliably offer at least 2 days each week during term time.

  • Debrief time

We are looking for freelancers who would be confident to progress to lead facilitator role quickly.
