‘Raising Awareness of Fears of Crime for Women: Sexual Harassment’

A training session for Ashfield Police and statutory partners to raise awareness of the causes of fear for women.

The session is going to be focused on developing understanding of sexual harassment and how it feeds into the VAWG agenda and creates fear for women and girls.

This session will focus on the definition, prevalence, impacts, of sexual harassment, in particular impacts around intersectionality, the session will go on to look at innovative work, campaigns and getting to the root causes.

Please be aware that this session will contain some reference to types of domestic abuse. It is recommended that the session is attended in a quiet and confidential space. If you are impacted by the content of the session, you will be provided with points of contact as part of your follow on resources, and reference will be made to support options in the session.
