Duration: 1.5 hours

Please join us for this hour and a half long briefing delivered by Kim Creus of Fight for Sight. The session will explore research undertaken by Fight for Sight in collaboration with SafeLives. During the session the following elements will be covered:

  • Introduction to the research – why Fight for Sight (formerly Vision Foundation) commissioned SafeLives to undertake research into blind and vision impaired people’s experiences of domestic abuse.
  • Key findings – prevalence and experience, barriers to seeking support and lack of accessibility and confidentiality.
  • Recommendations – for the sector and for society
  • Case study

Please be aware: due to the conditions of our funding, this training is free to people working in Nottingham City and County – chargeable outside of these areas.
