This poster is to advertise the Right to Ask scheme. ‘Right to Ask’ gives anyone a right to ask the police if someone has an abusive past. If you’re concerned that you may be at risk of harm from a current or ex-partner, you can apply for information about them. The ‘Right to Ask’ can show if you may be at risk from someone and allow you to make informed decisions about your relationship.
Concerned friends, family members and professionals can also use the scheme if they’re worried about someone.
