The Your Choice Project
The Your Choice Project is our voluntary behaviour change programme for anyone who has been using harmful behaviour towards a partner, ex-partner, or family member. We support lasting change, while keeping survivors’ safety and wellbeing at the centre of everything we do.
What we offer
Our approach addresses unhealthy behaviour constructively, while keeping survivors’ wellbeing at the centre. We work in partnership with Juno Women’s Aid, Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid, and Equation’s domestic abuse service for men and LGBTQ+ survivors, so everyone affected can access the right support.
- Healthy and Equal Relationships Programme
16 weeks of group sessions exploring unhealthy behaviours, denial, blame, boundaries and the impact on children, plus one-to-one support tailored to individual needs. - Maintenance Programme
One session a month for 6 months after finishing the main programme, to help sustain positive change. - Ongoing support for survivors
Up to 12 months of support focused on safety and wellbeing, for anyone whose partner or family member is attending the programme.
