Worried about how your behaviour affects others?
If you recognise behaviours such as checking someone’s phone, trying to control aspects of their life, or noticing that someone close to you seems uneasy around you, it may be time to reflect on the impact on your relationships. The Your Choice Project can support positive, lasting change.
A behaviour change programme, not anger management
The Your Choice Project is a voluntary programme for anyone who wants to stop using controlling or abusive behaviour towards a partner, ex-partner or family member. It runs in group sessions and one-to-one, and is delivered in line with Respect UK’s standards of practice, so survivors and children stay safe throughout. The programme looks at why the behaviour happens and helps you build safer, more respectful relationships. Depending on what’s right for you, this can include early intervention, longer-term behaviour change work, parenting support, or ongoing one-to-one maintenance sessions once a programme ends.
Who the programme is for
The Your Choice Project is for people who recognise that their behaviour may be harming their relationships and want support to make positive changes. It is for anyone willing to reflect, take responsibility, and work towards building safer, healthier relationships with partners, ex-partners or family members.
